NH openings are typically leftover unfilled positions from the last AE plus expansions in any category (base/plane combo). Before Indoc you will receive a list of possible openings but not the number of openings. You will then be asked to rank order the options.

Advice: Don’t try to game the system. As others have stated, sometimes a category which has gone super senior will go junior. Just put what you want. Just remember to bid what you want, want what you bid.
