If the Delta MEC and pilots are calling for it , then obviously there is a way to bring us on the 7’s/9’s to mainline and merge us in somehow . We can debate what the terminology would be , but it’s a very realistic scenario. I mean they have merged giant airlines together for decades and the mainlines used to fly all 70 to 90 seat jet flying anyway , so it wouldn’t be a big deal to merge 2000 9E pilots and other employees.
Not really an open letter to Mgmt...it was a letter to the pilot group stating that he, along with EDV MEC Chair went to DL Mgmt to talk possible solutions.

If you got a buddy at mainline, have them look at the MEC Chair email dated 4 March for the full letter, but here is what he said about EDV and mainline:

"We again offered to engage on solutions that would better help solve the retention issue at Endeavor while bringing value to the Delta PWA rather than waste it on ineffective bonuses. Unfortunately, Delta management was not interested in engaging on possible solutions. Ultimately, the best way to ensure proper staffing for Delta’s regional flying is to bring those aircraft, and pilots, to the mainline."
