I’m afraid that you’re probably right. APC echo chamber polling is always way off from reality, although I don’t recall ever hearing this much negative about any proposal out on the line. There are plenty of company men, those really close to retirement, afraid of a major recession, and bird in the hand we’ll get them next time types who will vote yes. The MEC doesn’t really need to sell that many people and we shouldn’t underestimate the silent majority. My cautiously optimistic guess is 55-45 no.
