What happens if Boeing can't deliver the MAX10 airframes (250!) and wants to preserve orders, even at great cost? Many likely get converted to MAX9, some probably get cancelled (with A321neo orders placed). But might some get converted to MAX7 if the UAL regional feed starts to dry up?
(BTW...the MAX7 is greater PAX than the A319, actually close to the A320 cabin length...the MAX7 is by no means a re-engined 737-700...)
Max 7 isn’t certified yet either apparently. Max 10 to Max 9 conversion was allegedly the plan if there were program delays… 138 or so delivered by the end of 2023… goodluck staffing them with all of those reserve work rule concessions in the TA though…
