That's the read I got too. 9 Year captain leaving and they've only agreed on the sections that were easy. Company isn't being serious with powerful negotiators in the room and is instead sending seat warmers.
I also wonder how much of this is due to our weak contract and the 737 transition. The company can abuse the language in the contract to help manage staffing with seat locks and displacement bids.
