Boeing did not rush to try and buy Embraer. That plan was in the works all along COVID and the MAX grounding delayed it. The A220 isn’t exactly writing checks for AB. That program is still losing money only the A380 is worse and getting worse. The A380s will all be gone in 10 years and that is going to hurt. OEMs don’t make money selling aircraft. They make the money taking care of them for 20+ years.

I must have missed all the Chinese interest in the 220, the airlines lining up to buy it and the investment in it being built.

Boeing is a dumpster fire and AB is eating them alive.
