Ready, Set, Takeoff is a prep company that also puts out annual survey results. You can see them via their Facebook pages. When I was deciding whether or not to pursue a Master's degree saw that over 50% of FedEx new hires (2020 data) had one which made me pull the trigger. So I would like to believe that higher education does add to your "total package."

I was also invited to interview without having an endorsement this year. In my experience, the aviation conferences are a great way to network and get you some 1v1 time with FedEx leadership. They are not allowed to keep resumes but can write notes and keep your information card that is provided before hitting up their booth. Very laid back but, in my opinion, they are likely making some judgment calls on whether you would be a good fit for the company. I know several people that were invited a short time after attending these conferences. Just a few data points to consider. Good luck!
