I live in Atlanta, was getting my medical and this came from a Delta pilot. Specifically he stated that around 30% of classes are empty and that a lot of pilots were leaving for FedEx due to their pension.

People will always move to different airlines early on. The pension at FedEx isn’t the driving force. Nor is our profit sharing why some at FE come to Delta. 9/10 times domiciles are the determining factor.
Good information, thank you.
How much preparation does Delta do for each First Officer student prior to Indoc starting? The reason I ask is that I live in Atlanta maybe 25 minutes from the Delta training center, so if someone fell out could I be put into the Indoc class?
