You will not find much better work rules at many regionals. If you have the time to upgrade you should have gone to great lakes... etc. and immediately upgraded in a T-prop. If you wanted PIC time depending on the mentorship program was not in your best interests. Many regionals will be slowing down in the future and you may simply be happy to have a 121 job period in 6months-1year, so keep that in perspective while you complain.
