I would have no problem checking "yes" because with the conversion you do. If for whatever reason it comes up in the interview, just kindly explain that after the sortie correction that it put you over 1000. It's their conversion, not yours. I don't think it's a big deal.
Yep, they allow the conversion for this exact reason (even though TPIC isn’t “required” now). It’s not a reach, it’s just following instructions. Good luck!
