The problem with knee jerk recall efforts based in anger is the representation you end up with can be a WHOLE lot worse than what you have (fine example of a whole lot worse, btw).

Has anyone gone to the trouble of trying figure out the recall and replace timeline? Hint: you’re F’d. Even the most aggressive timeline won’t remove the sitting MEC before the BOD. It’ll be up to the rest of ALPA to block TI.

What I do know is the company is aware of a big bag of NO and willing to come back to the table. Maybe they send something back worthy of consideration, maybe they still get the big bag of NO. We’ll see.

Watching professional airline pilots lash out in a public forum like a bunch of Karen’s who’s Starbuck’s order isn’t quite right is sad, but won’t change the BOD electors for UAL or change the November 1st deadline for TA1.1

It’s time to wind your watch, don’t rush, find the right replacements and realize there’s actually a lot representation that occurs at the local level, away from the MEC. Be careful that the replacements actually have a clue.
