I floored a resolution in 1998 back in the day of Prodigy and Compuserve, it failed. I tried to get it on the agenda at the BOD for years after that, maybe it's important to more than just me now? To answer your question - what do you do with small children when you're on a trip? Do that during a meeting. Proxy, learn to work system, it can be done very effectively. AND, take part in the process to make it reflect the needs of line pilots! There's no doubt the system needs to change but the change has to come from within. ALPA has the legal right as the bargaining agent to represent United pilots. Unless we're will to decertify ALPA and start over, the change has to come LEC meetings, I couldn't agree more that MEC 2.0 needs to take this up and steamroll Herndon with a spec sheet and a timeline to implement. From my experience, some of the biggest speed bumps come from National, not the MEC.
