JetBlue has been flying internationally for nearly two decades. Europe? They fly to one country, in an Airbus, for same pay as the guys going to TPA. The trips suck.
You’re comparing one fleet for pay rates, and we both can probably agree that DL will have a new contract first, and it will likely exceed what JB offers.
DL offers widebody FO rates that rival JB airbus rates.
At JB, you’ll be a junior CA for years, on reserve for three plus, and when you get a line, it will be to SDQ. Seniority really doesn’t buy you much at JB when the A321 is the pinnacle of your career, and the majority of those senior to you are under 55. The seniority list moves at a snails pace.
If I had eight years of seniority at JB, I’d be hard pressed to leave, but it’s a very reasonable thing to consider depending on your age and goals.
