Actually, most of the 97xxx guys are Seaboard dudes. Maybe that's what he meant...They were hired after that merger, so they could furlough some Tiger guys.

Not flamebait at all, seeing as I have no reason to flame anyone. Been posting here for years and haven't flamed anyone to date. I really don't care one way or another about guys' backgrounds so I have no reason to stir anyone up. Especially about something that happened when I was still in high school. I was simply repeating what I heard a CA I flew with say. Seeing as this is a FT thread, it seemed relevant. I was hesitant to bring it up, b/c I know how sensitive some people on this board can be. People are free to agree or disagree with that particular captain, but I thought I'd throw it out there to see if anyone else has thoughts on it or knows more about it than me or said captain. Just the messenger.
