The Amerijet deal represents Maersk’s second initiative to access the U.S. market. In November it engaged Wilmington, Ohio-based Air Transport Services Group (NASDAQ: ATSG) to provide and operate three 767-300 freighters under a long-term lease. An ATSG subsidiary is expected to begin carrying out dedicated transport for Maersk on key U.S.-China routes in the second half of this year.
good catch. The three & three was confusing me. I thought they were referring to the same aircraft.
