On a side not I was in the interview last week as well 1 of 3 CFI's and 1 other commercial pilot. All others at the interview were prior 121 or some amount of experience. The briefing during the interview they told the 121 guys they would be in class within the next month where as the guys that were off the street we got told expect October or November, (one mentioned could be September). So I have no idea what we are looking at class wise. It does seem the 121 guys are getting the priority.
If the guy/girl really wants Envoy but is definitely going to take a class date sooner at another Regional, then try it and see. Since his/her mind has already been made that they were going elsewhere, if Envoy doesn’t get them a class date, no harm/no foul.
