If they hadn't taken tax payer money and encouraged their pilots to leave, if they hadn't paused hiring for so long when every analyst from both sides of the aisle predicted a relatively short drop in travel, if they hadn't threatened furlough or sidelined thousands of pilots, if they had invested in their regional carriers and training pipelines instead of buying back stock a decade ago when the the first mentions of this started hitting the press, NONE of these issues would be happening today.
This is pure anti-union garbage. The unions aren't driving this. This is purely the fault of the airlines. Of course, I'm not surprised that that clown thinks the unions are the bad guys here.
