most classes have mostly locals and very few off islanders as you may already know, I’d guess I’d check with classmates if it were me, if there’s something on Craigslist like that and it’s month to month, that may be good. Make it close, Waikiki, Aiea, etc.
Waikiki has rentals by the month. I found a small apartment that was a converted hotel room off Prince Edwards street close to Kapi’olani when I was based in Kaneohe flying P-3’s. 2016 price was $1000 per month. Found it on Craigslist. Free on street parking on Monsarrat Ave. Short 10 walk to the apartment.
