I was at the DB campus from 01'-04'. Get your butt in the door at a major airline doing an internship. These days the only people getting the good jobs are the ones who know somebody. And to know all the right somebody's at a major usually helps when the time comes. I did an internship at CAL and at the time they had people out on furghlough. Now they are hiring like crazy and I'm just about at the mins. Now I can walk my own resume into the CP's office. Go and see John Merwin at the career office, he can give you all the info about the CAL intern. (And dont just apply for the summer, b/c that's when its the most competitive.)
