This has happened to me. The company may not give you a LOA if they think they have you by the short hairs.


That said, personally, if I actually signed a training contract I would not leave early unless it was a real emergency on my part. But I probably wouldn't sign one for an airline. Well maybe FDX.
Nothing to lighten up about. I’ve seen many pilots leave right after training. Not good. If there wasn’t a bunch of garbage out there then there wouldn’t be a need for them. End of story
