Just tell the truth
Telling the truth, not matter what, brings honestly, intergrity and ethics to an organization. Lying, misleading people and cover ups lead to failures that become inevtiable.
Roughly 77% of new businesses fail in the U.S. There are many reasons but I would say poor management is on the top of that list. Companies that generally succeed have leadership that empowers and inspires people. The Southwest story is one of those stories.
If you continue to lie, cheat, hit people over the head, constantly misrepresent yourself and hire bad employees, YOU WILL FAIL.
Flytofight, with respect, maybe look at yourself as part of the problem? Self awareness is paramount. Scott Kirby at United seems to have done a 180 because his belief system wasn’t working.
This company has been at it for 2 years now and has had a lot of issues, seems it still does, right out of the box. Can it be fixed, maybe, but it has to start from within and at the top. You either get that or you don’t. Here’s some simple questions, ask yourself what your turnover has been like, why, and how much has it cost?
Best of luck but I think you need fundamental change.
