Similar dilemma but in reverse. Super senior at top regional with responsibilities above and beyond line Captain making upwards of $225k and live in base. Class date at AA coming up quick. CJO at DL with no class date given yet. AA means rocket seniority but commute for the rest of my career (10 years left). DL means I live in base but have to wait until they meter me in (end of year?) and loss of several hundred numbers. Staying put means continue to live in base, potential raise coming with new contract expected soon, but stay at a regional even with super seniority.

Its been a gut wrenching decision for me as I guess it has been for you. I'm leaning toward turning down AA. Wait to see when the DL class date comes in and it gives me time to see what our new contract looks like. Biggest factor is living in base since commuting to WB FO likely out of my reach at my age. At age 35 maybe not but if I were you and didn't stay at F9 it would be AA since you'll be avoiding the commute.
