Or define themselves by their job. Some just gotta say "I'm a pilot" everywhere they go. Signature Aviation hats at the bar, custom license plates like AV8R, Remove Before Flight keychains, etc. Personally, I like telling people I'm a traveling dental floss salesman (nobody believes the gigolo story).
