I don’t think they care about the 9%. It’s the removal of the largest ulcc maybe 60% ish of ultra discount fares to the consumer that might raise some hackles. Especially in this awesome economy. The first shot was fired across the bow with Biffle whining about the merger after the Frontier rejection. I’m sure there will be a lot of that to come. JetBlue should spin it to the doj that we’re gonna inject some yellow into this mofo and compete top to bottom not just the big 4 spin that they’ve been preaching. Then do whatever after the approval.
