"Lots of changes. All good. I’ll put out a standalone hiring update after we’ve successfully implemented some of the programming changes that will be required for the below and some other changes. We’re spending a lot of time to be careful we continue to get the best pilots as the industry and hiring landscape continues to rapidly change. There is no shortage of pilots in our application system or at events we attend who have made it clear that FedEx is their first choice. Our very hard-working Pilot Recruitment Team will have a booth at the Mid-South Airshow on June 18th and 19th. We’ll continue hiring at a rate of approximately 70 per month for the foreseeable future.
  1. Our interview process is now a single day event. We’ve eliminated the JKT test and now accomplish testing remotely. The result has been a much smoother turnaround for applicants and a better process for our hiring team.
  2. A college degree will soon be preferred, not required. There are many exceptionally qualified pilots out there who we would like to consider. Consideration of the breadth of experience and training will be major considerations for those applicants. This is not ready for implementation until our software is updated to accept applications from those without a four-year degree. We will announce it to our pilots when it becomes official.
  3. Endorsements will move to a time-based processing system. The intent is to move towards a process that processes oldest endorsements first. We have over 2400 pilot endorsements in our system. We want to honor them, but the math doesn’t make it a problem that’s easy to address when we’re hiring 70 pilots per month.
  4. We are rapidly approaching our 100th Legacy new hire pilot in three years."
Whatever you feel is necessary to prepare for the Cognitive Test and Psych Test. (Some say that RST (Ready Set Takeoff) is no longer necessary and point you in the direction of general Cog Prep online content.)

Then the In-person (SBI and Panel Interview) on Day 2 can be covered by ECIC (Emerald Coast) or any number of other Interview prep companies mentioned previously. I'm sure that folks will chime in with their favorite, which is probably just whichever one they used.
