If I worked for Hawaiian I would certainly want to move to HNL but it would take me a while of actually being on the island to find a place. I have a wife and kids and won't get a place where I haven't personally been to, to scout out the area. That's not really possible while I'm working for a regional on the mainland. If they offered a hotel during training I could use my free time to find a permanent location for my family.
So you don’t work here yet and you’re already complaining about the place. We get what you are saying/venting, but giving up your seniority at a regional is a bigger plunge than crashing on a couch somewhere while you are getting through training.
