Hopefully other work groups dont get into it with the pilots at the picket also pilots going have to know to stay cool all the time. They will try to test you and get a reaction to show how horrible the pilots are and how they want to destroy the company.
I had exactly one person say anything to my group at the Dallas picket. He was dropping his family off and yelled at us because we are "overpaid and underworked". He said he was a commercial pilot with 10,000 hours so he knows what he is talking about.
His family was mortified.
Other employee groups gave us nothing but support. Customer service offered us shelter and bathrooms, lots of honking with thumbs up and "go pilots!"
Outside of the HQ building, everyone can see Rome burning.
