Pilots over the last year are hooked on PP trips being plentiful… like on crack. Just prior to Covid it was rare for an FO to get PP unless around a holiday or a very late Sick Call inside the 14 hour callout without SC coverage being available. Now we are seeing multiple PP trips available (some 2 days early) in both seats and everyone is waiting until it hits 100%. Once the Fall schedule hits and OE backlog gets resolved these cherry PP opportunities are going to dry up big time.
Sucks. Seems it's simply the lesson management has learned over time. It's simply less expensive to run slightly understaffed (for whatever reason) vs. "properly staffed".

I think the company can afford those numbers. Of course, you can't recover everything when taking into acct ESOP/A fund. But I think we should be asking for the hourly and work rules back, plus 10% of course, since recovering C2000 would only mean you guys haven't gotten a raise in 22 years which would be insane for ANY profession like ours
Agreed. Of course, the counter was that "C2000 was just an unsustainable CBA"
