Mint to the UK is pretty darn nice, more than competitive with the other premium offerings across the pond (except for lack of lounge access from a pax perspective)…. Generally that’s the thing about B6, when they put their mind to something they do a really awesome job on it however the rest of the operation tends to falls apart in the meantime because no one is minding the store.

Yes easy to upgrade if there are seats available as long as you list in J Class, the standby list clears fairly transparently. Only catch is on the way back to the States it’s about $100 more in taxes over the already inflated “UK Air Passenger Duty” in Y class (of around $230 for LHR off the top of my head, LGW is a bit less). That being said I’ve also ridden in the back and it’s the same old seats, but WiFi strangely worked the whole way without a hitch, meal mix and match choices that u order through ur IFE which believe it or not looked appetizing…unlimited beer/wine/spirits, blanket/pillow/half way descent amenities kit even in economy… not a bad way to cross the atlantic.
