You will work 18 days per month either flying, short call or field standby. A huge portion of the junior flying has late night all nighters to Europe. LHR is typically the most junior trip but reserves are getting other destinations as well like the unaugmented trips to EDI DUB. Domestic transcons frequently have a red eye but the 756 also does MCO turns from EWR. 777 does more deep Europe than 756. DCA 777 has a daily daytime SFO 2 day…that’s probably a good bet for a reserve as well…but nits day flying.
You will be on reserve on both fleets in those bases until your seat lock is up and you can bid down.
Looks like the bottom third of the class is getting WB in EWR or SFO. If you end up being assigned WB how long would it take to hold IAD and which would be the best WB fleet to get there ASAP?
