You've obviously never been through the program out in NM then. Before you make judgements, I'd highly recommend taking the time to get out there and attend the weeklong course.

If at the end of the week you don't want to participate, you still end up completing one of the best training courses that's available to cockpit flight crews. Personally, I think that all of the lectures and defense/mindset training should be required in basic indoc.
