From my understanding the annuity option doesn’t have any inflation or bankruptcy protection and taking the lump sum would give you a chance to protect your money. While sticking around could result in 20% decline in lump sum value retiring just a month later. Ouch!

I could see the top 5-10% of those close to retirement eyeing an out in November. Maybe 200 people actually going out. I doubt there is a plan to mitigate this, but it makes me wonder how this will affect things. Just over hire to fix it, right? Haha. Maybe OTZ can tell us.
