WN guy here. My folks are looking at traveling on a ZED fare on United from IAH to FCO in May. They are retired and don’t care about about sitting around a few days to get on if need be to have more money to spend in Rome.

The Question: if they make the first leg and don’t make the second leg to Rome — would their luggage go on to Rome or would they have to retrieve it from Baggage Claim and do it all again the next day?
