Leverage? Name one thing that the company needs to execute its business plan that ALPA is withholding.
The real quid for the company will be reduction of exposure to liability, through a new formal process for remediation of scope violations.
The quid for Delta pilots will be a piece of all growth going forward.
The reason for doing this outside of Section 6 is to ensure that the terms of our scope are isolated from any horse trading in other sections of the contract, and no one’s job is getting bargained away in the (inevitable) shuffle.
It’s been three months since they reached an AIP, so maybe I should calm down. I don’t think we’re gonna get a chance to vote on this. Eric Criswell could TA the cure for cancer, and this MEC would vote it down.
