In upgrade at the Hilton so chatting with some of the new hires. A lot of them got NYC but want another base. Is it “frowned upon” to try to drop an entire NYC schedule on the swap board then OOBWS yourself a Seattle month? Staffing permitting in both bases obviously. Is this a thing that guys do when they can’t get the base they want? Just curious what advice I should give them. I’m not a commuter so don’t know the schemes.
I think some guys living in ATL are doing this on the 320 but have no idea how successful a new hire will be dumping their line given how tight coverage is.
