Since management MUST come to the pilots for the JCBA, if the pilots actually settle for 3% and QOL degradation, it will be self-inflicted punishment on the part of the combined pilot group.
It’s a rare opportunity for the pilots to have such leverage - usually it’s management that wants to drag things out - but it certainly is something that the combined MECs can botch if it isn’t handled right.
