Is this correct? It's hard to understand what "pay" I'm getting if you fall below reserve guarantee for the month.

over guarantee (or what you flew if you went over guarantee). You do not get a PB day if not flown.
You would not want credit since credit only helps you fill up to the reserve guarantee.
