I get what you are saying, it’s the age old debate here... in the sense of “WB going to NH” (an anomaly, and I think also the question really asked), they aren’t. Also, the 7ER (757/767-300 ‘classic’ category for those unaware) pays like a NB. And when folks talk about WB slots on a bid, they aren’t talking about the 7ER category.

The nuance is lost on most folks new to Delta, but I submit most folks (including applicants) don’t consider the 7ER to be a true WB, even though you are correct that the 767-300 technically is one.
