This is true & unfortunately I think is crushing our resolve to fight for meaningful pay increases. With the 15% or so we’ve lost to inflation since our last bump, NB FO is no longer meeting a lot of people’s needs. But since pretty much anyone can hold NB CA now, it’s not seen as a problem- just upgrade in 12 months if you need more $$$! Obviously that’s not a realistic long-term solution. FO will go back to a decade+ gig eventually. It used to pay accordingly & needs to keep up with the changing times.
