So how do you determine BES/Pay/bidding without seniority, unless you have a national seniority list (and good luck on that SLI)?
commodity and responsibility are not mutual exclusive. But that is irrelevant. Market wages are determined by supply and demand and being a commodity doesn’t help the cause.
I realize that seniority is the backbone of this industry. But people also need to realize that it can get in the way of regular market dynamics.
