On a long overnight I have zero issue paying for an Uber to go out. That or I’ll rent a car and go explore, and if the crew is cool I’ll invite them along. If they aren’t? See ya tomorrow. There’s things to do everywhere, you just got to find it. And if the crew is good? It’s not so much where you are but who you’re with instead.

explore parks, museums, zoos, putt putt golf, go karts, art shows, hiking trails, monuments, top golf is a fav, comedy shows, casinos, bars, canoeing / kayaking, beach, swimming, go watch a game at a stadium or sports bar with the crew, Christmas villages / festivals, haunted houses in October, beers in the pool area if it’s decent out… the list goes on and on. If you can’t figure out anything to do, chances you’re just as boring outside of work. Hell my go to is “I’m gonna go get tacos & margaritas. I’ll be down in 15. Anyone wanna come? Cool.. if not, van times at :____ and I’ll see you then”

from there we figure out other things to do. This job is as fun or miserable as you make it.
