Should we go back to seniority automatically setting your training date like 2015? No choice. You just go in seniority order? Should we do smaller bids? 2 year NB and 3 year WB Captains will be a thing of the past then. The only reason this is occurring currently is because senior pilots can choose to delay training once awarded a vacancy.
According to the UA thread and DL thread they have the worst system bidding rules.
I see most of the issues directly linked to the expectations that many have of unrestricted airplane and seat movements regardless of training throughput abilities.
