They are temporary at AA WO, literally. Airlines that aren't paying at least LCC rates are at significant risk of going belly up in the next 6 months. At Gojet recently, they had 120% more FOs then CAs.
I think it's fair to do a CPI raise until DOS. Date of signing it should be significant.
