I think the intent behind the reductions is somewhat misunderstood.
With the opening of ATL and IAH they need to ramp up the manpower fast in order to realize the efficiencies that are needed out of these new domiciles.
DTW, DFW and ORD all have huge populations to fill seats, and I'm sure Spirit and JetBlue appreciate that.
I agree. The displacement isn’t going to be as bad as the initial bid. I believe once IAH opens and with Atl, the displacements will be minimal. Don’t get me wrong though, I absolutely hate what they are doing, but I hate meltdowns even more.
