DL has long large bids like FDX. Most airlines have fast upgrades currently. Our mega bid system allows larger movements to higher paying seats quicker. I could care less if we kept our current system or not. Simply saying no system is without it’s warts. Is it really something we want changed over the numerous other things? It has worked for me changing numerous airplanes and bases.
Hey man, as I stated previously, DL has moved from large bids to smaller, more frequent bids. And guess what, they still have jr NB/WB upgrades. Call one one of your buddies from DL and ask.
They upgrades will still happen at the same rate no matter what since demand will not change.
