Not a rumor but a fact...instead of using support in the sim, crew scheduling will call reserves to come in. Will help with the 3/3 problem on the -11 for some pilots. Exact implementation TBD but will be soon. Personally I am curious what the contract says about this!...

f. Post Duty Availability
A reserve pilot shall contact CRS at the completion of any assignment that terminates within his R-day. Such contact shall be within 30 minutes after block-in if the assignment was a trip or within 30 minutes after the conclusion of
any other assignment (e.g., simulator). If the pilot is not given another assignment for that duty period, he shall be released for a minimum rest period of 10 hours.
