Boston is often rated as one of the most desirable places to live in the country (best schools, hospitals, relatively low crime). And to have an employer who has a significant presence here is a dream to
many.
When people say “worst”, I believe they are only talking about affordability?
So, I know I’m stating the obvious; but pilots who are the same seat and seniority often have wildly different net worths…
It’s my belief that most towns at the 35-45 minute mark from metro Boston should be affordable to the average Jetblue pilot. Average household income in MA is 80k a year. And 45k per capita. This puts Jetblue pilots solidly in the upper middle class in MA
