Have a CJO, waiting for class date. Friend of mine is in training now. He’s told me that Delta seems to have a particular culture and that if you don’t fit in you know fast. He’s not liking it and is hoping for an interview somewhere else. Wish I could describe better, because this isn’t meant to be a negative post or create some kind of thread battle, just really curious about this because now I’m concerned about it. He said they really want everyone to succeed and that’s how I felt in the interview. But that the training isn’t fun at all and there is no joking laughing just business. It’s all very military. I’ve had really fun training where you have fun and learn. Is the training department different than the line? Do different bases have different vibes? Someone told me or maybe I read it here that ATL is the worst.
The training and the line are changing dramatically. It’s getting better. Please don’t let a few bad apples sway your opinion.
