That particular function, Pilot;s Master Schedule, is pretty much useless for trip tracking. Only useful to spy and nefarious purposes. Unblocking only provides a method of prying and schedule voyeurism.

As mentioned you can’t block your schedule at Delta. Without the ability to view other pilots schedules it can be difficult to verify if a trip award was properly made both for reserve and line holders. This went to arbitration and he ruled in favor of the unions efforts to keep schedules unblocked for the above reason.
