Do you know of a pilot who was section 21 for D2ing home?
Exactly.
Scenario 1: Pilot bids/receives a 777 FO TDY to LGA. Pilot has a string of days off and wants to non-rev with family from JFK-Europe (or whatever) and wants a lie flat seat. Pilot and family burn D1s and travel to a European vacay. Nope, not if you’re NotPhlying! Stealing from the company! You’ll get a section 21 hearing! Better enjoy that NYC hotel room, you can’t go anywhere!
Scenario 2: Same pilot desires to fly home to Dallas on a string of days off to check on said pilot’s gun collection and bring their F-350 dually into the shop to add another 4” of lift to a vehicle they’ll primarily drive to and from HEB. DFW is melting down because it’s DFW and it’s AA. There’s zero inventory to book an A12 into, they’re grouped in with the revenue standbys, and everything is oversold by dozens of seats. The jumpseat is open, though…. Nope! Not if you’re NotPhlying! Stealing! Section 21!
Just giving you a hard time NotPhlying!
